L inda Quinn Allen is an associate professor in the Department of World Languages and Cultures and in the School of Education. She teaches courses in French and world language pedagogy. Dr. Allen is the teacher licensure coordinator for world languages. In this role, she advises undergraduate and post-degree students seeking world language teacher licensure, facilitates the admission of world language education students to the teacher education program and to student teaching, and recommends world language teacher candidates for licensure to the Iowa State Department of Education.
