Sandra Buchholz was born Deaf to hearing parents, and has a Deaf brother.  She received her in MA in Sign Language Education from Gallaudet University in 2015.  She has been teaching American Sign Language (ASL) collegiately since 1999.  She has been a full time ASL lecturer at the Iowa State University.  In her spare time, she enjoys camping, hiking, gardening, swimming, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
