Bio
Guedeyi Hayatou received his Ph.D. in Francophone literature from the University of Ottawa in Canada in 2016, his MA in French and Francophone Studies with minor in Film Studies from Bowling Green State University- OH and his Bachelor in French and Francophone Literature from the University of Ngaoundéré in Cameroon.He is the author of an article "La représentation de l'enfance fragmentée dans Contours du jour qui vient de Léonora Miano" (L’Harmattan, 2014) and a book review, Le prix de l’impasse. Christianisme africain et imaginaires politiques, Kavwahirehi Kasereka, (Afrique Contemporaine, 2017) and is currently at work on a book version of his doctoral dissertation on Édouard Glissant’s Poetic of Relation in the contemporary Africa Sub-saharan francophone literature.
His ongoing research focuses on the mobile spaces, borders, new identities and poetic of Relation in postcolonial contexts in contemporary francophone Sub-Saharan Africa literature.
