Bio
I am one of the academic advisors in the Liberal Arts and Sciences College. I have been advising at Iowa State for 13 years in a variety of majors and programs.
I graduated from Iowa State in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in English (Literature and Creative Writing) and then in 2010 with a master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies: World Cinema.

Outside the university
Outside of work I am a musician constantly inspired by art, culture, film, and nature and my musical influences/styles range from jazz and soul to folk and rock. I have produced five albums of original music, a holiday album, and hope to produce a children’s album in the near future.
