Student Checkout Policies
Students may check out any materials and limited technology equipment.
The loan period for books, films, and CDs is seven days, but for technology it is 24 hours. Director approval is required to check out technology for longer than 24 hours and the LSRC has the authority to recall any item with a 24-hour return notice if another person has requested the item.
All items may be renewed unless it has been requested by another patron. To renew, bring the physical item to the LSRC. Failure to return items on time, in working condition, or at all will result in a fee placed on the patron’s U-Bill. The fee is the estimated value of the damaged or missing item.
Items on reserve may be used within the LSRC for up to three hours in exchange for the student’s ISU ID card, but may not be checked out for use outside of the LSRC. Patrons are able to use items within the LSRC and are not required to check them out unless they are brought outside of the center.
Questions regarding this policy may be directed to the LSRC director.
